Mr. Mora graduated from the
University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School
of Law in 1996 and was admitted to practice law
in the State of New York in 1997. He is also
admitted in the United States Federal Court,
Southern District. Affiliations include
membership in the New York State Bar Association
and the Dutchess County Bar Association. In
addition to the practice of law, he has been a
guest lecturer at Dutchess Community College and
Marist College. He served as Councilmember for
the 1st Ward in the City of Poughkeepsie from
January, 2000 to December, 2005 (and its
Chairman from January, 2004 to December, 2005).
Mr. Mora is a member of the Poughkeepsies' Joint
Water Board (and its Chairman from January 1,
2005 to December 31, 2005, from January 1, 2007
to December 31, 2007, and from January 1, 2009
to December 31, 2009). He serves as a Trustee at
Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, also having
served as a member of the Parish Pastoral
Council and is currently a Lector there.
