The client filed the paperwork for the Court to review and after taking 4 days to do so, returned the paperwork to him saying it was insufficient. The Court personnel did not tell him what was wrong with the paperwork. The client attempted to "fix" it, filed it again, and this time the clerk accepted it. He thought all was well. He was mistaken! When he went to Court on the scheduled date, the judge dismissed the proceeding. When he asked what was wrong with the paperwork, the judge told him he does not give out legal advice. Mr. Mora reviewed the paperwork, pointed out a few minor errors, corrected them, had the tenant properly served, and completed the eviction in a timely manner. If only he had come to us sooner, he could have saved valuable time and had the tenant evicted promptly.
